A primary green to metallic pink flash rainbow spectrum, botanical themed leaf jewel is made with layers of transparent color shift iridescent mirrored Dichroic art glass and a real leaf that I collected from the wilds of the Alaskan outdoors. The leaf has been through an extremely time consuming process of a heated acid treatment to "skeletonize" it and sealed forever inside the layers of beautiful glass. The top layer of the leaf jewel is a low profile domed crystal clear glass for the sake of form and a little of the fun magnification highlighting the lovely intricate botanical detail of the leaf inside. The transparent glass lets more light in through the back of the jewel to further enhance the full luminescence and color with plays of light while you are wearing it.

This has been created using the eco friendly, totally lead free Tiffany style soldering method similar to that used in our drinking water systems. The solder I use is made of a combination of simple and safe tin and silver. The size of the leaf jewel shown is 18 MM wide. The pendant is totally waterproof and can be worn during everyday activities, just be careful with harsh chemicals or acids like vinegar as this can oxidize the metal bezel. Safe cleaning can be done with mild detergents and a soft cloth to dry.

Please note that the necklace you receive will be just a little bit unique as each is made by hand with slight variations in art glass and natural leaf selection.

♡ ♡ This hangs on a dainty but sturdy 1.2 mm flat sparkly oval stainless steel chain in a 15 inch base length and comes with a 2 1/2 inch extender chain.
